The Sunshine Award

Thank you tastytreats13 for nominating me for the Sunshine Award! As you can see from my string of new posts, I have some time again to devote to blogging, including participating in and answering these fun award questions. I’m very honored to be nominated by tastytreats13. I recommend checking out tastytreats13’s blog because it’s filled with *tasty* treats, great recipes, and a fun read!Now, nominees were asked to answer these questions. Here are my answers:

Why did you start blogging? I wanted to start my own website several years ago to share recipes that I’ve tried and played with, but I never got it off the ground – didn’t feel like getting my own server, domain name, etc. Then I discovered blogging from my sister. She started blogging about restaurants she went to and I realized I could use blogging to share my recipes, attempts at recipes, tips, and get inspiration from fellow bloggers! Now I’m addicted.
Sweet or Savoury? SWEEEEEET, although a good plate of cheese fries (with the fake cheese) also has a big place in my heart.
If you were to go on any reality TV program, what would it be and why? Fear Factor, the challenges don’t seem that bad for the amount of money they give you! Haha, so I say now…
What was the last thing you Googled? Something about water boilers, I’m trying to learn about the heating system in my house. The showers get from hot to cold, I might’ve figured it out though since my last shower was all hot! Woohoo
Night In or Night Out? Night In – I love TV and movies and I’m not ashamed to admit it! That nook in the couch is calling my name.
What has been your favourite blog post to write? Hmmmm, probably my wedding cake. I really like making gum paste flowers and I don’t have much time or opportunity to do it as much anymore.
What’s the one thing you never leave home without? My phone! It’s large and in charge (Galaxy Note III), and I’m internet dependent.
Where would you most like to travel to? Too many places, I’ve got Thailand on the list, climbing Machu Picchu, Galapagos, Alaska, Japan (maybe soon!), and tons more!
If you could have any super power, what would it be? Does being able to eat as much as I want and whatever I want, but yet staying healthy and in shape count as a super power? Yea…that’d be it.
What can we expect to find from your blog in the future? Lots and lots of desserts with hopefully better photos – I will have more natural light in my new kitchen. Stay tuned…
