One of the most important things for a wedding, is to make sure you get your friends and family a little buzzed. What better way then to name drinks after yourself so they feel obligated to order these! We found drink recipes online that were the wedding colors of purple and green and then named them after ourselves.
Here is the recipe for the Wangskey (from the Chambord site – they call it the “Sweet Taste of Victory“)
- 2 oz Bourbon Whiskey
- 3/4 oz Chambord Liqueur
- 3/4 oz Vanilla Syrup
- 2 dashes Peychaud’s® Bitters
Shake all ingredients and serve in a Coupe glass. Garnish with any three of brandied blackberries, brandied raspberries or regular blackberries.
And then here’s the Boscito recipe (from the Midori site – Midori Mojito)
- 1 oz Mojito mixer
- 1 oz green Midori
- 1 oz rum
- 2 oz club soda
Combine all ingredients except soda in a shaker with ice. Shake and strain into a highball glass filled with ice, top with club soda and stir. Garnish with mint and a slice of lime.
